Cheers.

are you not supposed to play the best players you have ? Which better defenders or players in general do we have ?

Ajayi is playing at a higher level than some Brazilian players who play in China.

Is the Portugese league really better than the Championship ?

ARe the Turkish and Belgian leagues better than the Championship ?

I know the Swiss league, Ukrainian league etc cannot be better than the Championship.

What of Musa playing in Saudi Arabia ?

Who remembers the time when Yakubu was our best striker and playing in the Championship ? The Championship is better than many top leagues in Europe.

Again people making noise for no apparent reason.

Not like I'm disagreeing with you, but in recent history, what did we win with our so called "world class" players playing for elite clubs? Even the 2013 Afcon winning team had no player in any elite clubs besides few players like Mikel and Vic Moses...

They are still better than wastepipes like Ecjijile who you called for to be included in the WC squad because of his "experience" We all saw how useless he was at the mundial meanwhile the player that was dropped for him is now thriving in Torino Seria A.

Name 1 home based player playing at a better/ higher level than the aforementioned players??? Clown. Weren't you rooting for England when they played Nigeria in the friendly match in the summer? So why do you care? Why are you even here seeing that you support individuals like Giwa and Dulung who are actively seeking the complete destruction of Nigerian football. Corrupt thieves like you should never be given any platform to type here.

He is getting playing time with league leaders West Brom.

A few days ago he turned 21 and on his twitter page he said he was "thinking of his future".
if he develops well enough, he might become a centre-back option.

Two years ago Tosin when he got into the City 1st team and was making matchday squads(when Kompany was injured and before Laporte was brought in) He said he hadn't heard from the NFF.
The young guy wants to play for Nigeria.

Excellent post and analysis. Many of our defenders are either entering the last lap, injured, or injury prone (Elderson, Balogun, Ebuehi, Omeruo). Need to find other options too.

At first I didn't think much of it, but he is a 25 year old central defender playing week in week out in the championship.

He is getting more playing time an Balogun, Awaziem, and Oneruo.

He is playing at a higher level than Awaziem as far as I am concerned, and with e likes of Balogun already 29 and very injury prone, as well as lacking playing time, Ajayi could be very key for us.

Only Troost is playing consistently at a higher level so honestly Ajayi should be in the mix for a starting defending spot, if not the first option off the bench.

Also I await Fikayo Tomori who declared his allegiance to Nigeria.

We will soon be stacked.
