(Onyekuru almost messed that one up).

How? the through ball to him was a bit heavy and the gk narrowed the angle excellently. He had little choice but to cut it back which he did well after selling the keeper a dummy.
No, he did good in the end, but for a moment there I thought he would mess up.

Rohr is still a clown for what he did in the WC, he decided to give players like kalu, onyekuru a chance, and play iwobi as an AM. And we can see the results. Not the negative football Rohr served in WC.

Sharap abeg, Kalu is one of our few players that can create chances for himself and others.
He is not creating for others. Most times he is worse placed than team mates he goes for personal glory. That’s not to say he is a bad player. He needs to correct that aspect of his game and he will be on the next level.

Typical Cowardice Nigerians like Zee and co wouldn’t give the coach credit for this win, but if he had lost, they would had castigated the man. Everyone should stay honorable at all times and you cannot blame the coach when the team loses while praising the players when we win

Don't like his philosophy of the game...

But hard to see a game where he got his tactics wrong, save for the Croatia match...

Maybe the coach knows that ighalo will score a hatrick while Isaac tries to be successful with 3 Uyo ashi

I have no earthly idea why Shehu can start ahead of Aina.
I am baffled why Onazi is still in the mix and a younger, better player like Ejaria is ignored.
I can't understand how Ighalo starts ahead of Success.
Even how Balogun who hasn't been playing gets the nod over Semi.

Anyway, make I siddon dey look.

Ighalo will get the cred, but Iwobi was mercurial. Haven't seen a midfield performance like that since Okocha retired. Well, the Argentina - Nigeria Iwobi game maybe.

Iwobi MOTM for me and from now on no1 on any team roster.

Everyone did good albeit:
* Kalu, Onyekuru - too selfish.
* Musa - does not feel at his best on the wings.
* Ndidi - what happened to his rocket shot?
* Aina - lost at the start, but was superb by the end.
* Collins - starting slot guaranteed from now on, can't beat a left footed left back.
* Oyibo wall - superb.
* Uzoho - great, minus the distribution, on track for a 200 game Super Eagles career and possible world record :)

man i dont envy Rohr selecting starters for that WF role.

Musa, Simon, Kalu, Onyekuru, Iwobi. He should be happy Moses has retired sef.

Absolutely. We are probably the 2nd or 3rd best team in the continent atm...

Just need to sort out the 3rd midfielder position, more from a tactical standpoint than a personnel standpoint.

Iwobi is great in the last third, but overall contribution to central MF control is lacking...

Liverpool, European Champions 2005.

We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. We used to think before then that if the other players are better, you have to lose. After that we learned anything is possible – you can beat better teams by using tactics." Jurgen Klopp

Yes but Libya are facing a CAF home ban, so the match is played in Tunisia instead. Still expect proper home support for Libya in Tunisia.

Isaac success is a very good player. Even with the short time on the pitch. You could see his class.
Bushboy's bushmen : 1.Isaac Success 2. Terem Moffi 3. Victor Boniface 4. Samuel Omorodion. 5. Samson Tijani. 6. Rafiu Durosinmi.
Who will be next?

This. Rohr messed up by taking off Iwobi after the Croatia game and by not taking someone to replace Moses Simon (Kalu being the obvious choice as the player that outshined Moses in the same club at the same position).

This selection was near perfect for me. I still think Ighalo shouldn't start, but will give him a pass tonight. Best Super Eagles game ever.
