EAGLES PERFORMANCE RESULT VS LIBYA (PART 2)

EAGLES PERFORMANCE RESULTS.

1. Coaches Game Management:: 3
Allowing Libya to come back after we were up after 2 goals should tell you all you need to know about Rohrs coaching ability. The team was under persistent waves of attack from about the 20th minute of the first half till Ighalo scored the winning goal late in the 2nd half. Just terrible game management against a very weak team that wasn’t really playing in their own home turf.

2. Captains Leadership: 4
While Musa played ok he didn’t really demonstrate any leadership in terms of communication with the team. He didn’t rally the troops in the way you would see Keshi or a john terry do in his Chelsea days.

3. Influencing the Referee: 2
Not much of that was going on by the players or the coaches.

4. Aesthetic Play: 3
For about 15 minutes in the first half when they scored those 2 first half goals you saw flashes of Aesthetic play, then it all fizzled out when t he Libyans decided to put them under pressure.

5. Kickoff: Must hold the ball for more than 1 minute before giving it away. 0

6. Passing: 55 % + possession time: 1
Terrible for about 70 minutes of the game.

7. Set Pieces: 0
They didn’t even try. Etebo couldn’t get the ball over a 1 man wall over and over. Meanwhile the Libyans scored their first goal from a perfectly worked Set piece and they executed over and over against us.

8. Pressing the Ball: 1
They made a lukewarm attempt once in the 2nd half.

9. Quality of Goal Keeping: 0
Is Uzoho really the best we can do ?? The goal kicks, clearances, flapping, dropping the ball were just bad all through the game !!!

10. Quality Goals Scored VS. Conceded: 2 vs. 0: 5
Ighalos first goal was an off sides. The 2nd goal was ok, the third was based on individual brilliance. I guess the Libyans don’t have ESPN otherwise they would have been ready for his Iggy Chop move like the rest of the defenders in the EPL. I really don’t care if Ighalo is scoring on the moon he shouldn't be our starting striker.

TOTAL SCORE: 19 out of 100. Still a failing grade!!!

We can’t play against better teams in the world like this!! We may get away with this against the likes of Libya, but it’s not going to work against teams like France or Argentina.

EAGLES PERFORMANCE TARGETS:
These are the areas the team traditionally has not done well so we need to figure how they are improving from game to game.

1. Coaches Game Management
2. Captains Leadership
3. Influencing the Referee
4. Aesthetic Play
5. Kickoff: Must hold the ball for more than 1 minutes before giving it away.
6. Passing: 55 % + possession time
7. Set Pieces
8. Pressing the Ball
9. Quality of Goal Keeping
10. Quality Goals Scored VS. Conceded: 2 vs 0

There is Maximum 100 Points attainable. 10 points per. I’ll announce the results after the game.

Yeah! Libya's games are played elsewhere (in Tunisia) because of the security issues or commotion in Libya.
And the BIBLE says: The race is NOT for the swift, neither is the battle for the strong nor ... but time and chance makes them all.
Ecclesiastes 1:18: For in much wisdom is much grief and he that increases knowledge increases sorrow.

He has changed the threads title. The original thread title was, "Eagles Performance Targets v Tunisia" hence the confusion.
