Liverpool, European Champions 2005.

We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. We used to think before then that if the other players are better, you have to lose. After that we learned anything is possible – you can beat better teams by using tactics." Jurgen Klopp

Kudos to Libya. They gave us a good fight in neutral field.

If we beat South Africa. Rohr should call up the fringe players for Seychelles.

Good result. This team shows flashes in various games how good they can be. IF only they could put together one complete game. Excellent job for teh 6pth in this double header. Well done boys and coaching staff.

On to the next one.

Rohr philosophy is that there could be an injury or red card... So he leaves the substitution until very very late.

Ehhhhm is it just me or is this AFCON 2019 going to have more 'lesser known' African teams than in a VERY VERY long time.

The Enyimba Keeper who is never invited is a whole lot better.

abeg wey our boy Ezenwa?
Afelokhai. He has had his moments in the local league & the fact that he is benching Ezenwa (Enugu 2 might disagree) is causing loud calls for his invitation, but I don't think he is National team material beyond the CHAN level.

We should call the 3 young men in Europe.
Yes, oyibo na oyibo, abi? For you, the next best thing to oyibo are young men in Europe :!:

That is going to be a tough one, considering South Africa is playing at home and are now behind us, but they can be beaten; after-all, they beat us in our home

It's an old school approach, one that makes a lot of sense.
But in today's game, clearly Etebo was tiring. He should have brought in help much earlier just to release some of the pressure in midfield.

I think Uzoho, bar for the 1 save at 2-1 was very very poor.

The second goal was purely on him. Your team was under the kosh and had just defended a set piece. He kicked the ball out waaayyyy too early. We had not gotten back in position. Of course they were going to win the first and second ball and come right back at us. It was schoolboy stuff.

Kudos for pushing through the win but we have to be better against SA at much much better at the Nations Cup.

We still need Mikel.

The chance that we will be punished when we are lacking in a department is much much higher than the likelihood of being punished due to an injury or red card.

The chance that we would have qualified for the 2nd round of the World Cup, by simply subbing off a tired and beaten Idowu is quite high!

We almost blew this opportunity today, once again due to subs! The result notwithstanding! The man has no excuses.

Yep.
And then defend with one less player on the set piece...brilliant!
So daft by Rohr. His brain freezes in this game were at an all-time high.

The Ndidi yellow card means nothing to me. What exactly has he done that is so special so far for the SE? He is not a big miss. If Mikel is available, then he is more than enough to play that role and play it much better. Maybe also a chance to take a look at Ejaira. Ogu dey. Shehu dey. Onazi dey. Esiti dey.
Bushboy's bushmen : 1.Isaac Success 2. Terem Moffi 3. Victor Boniface 4. Samuel Omorodion. 5. Samson Tijani. 6. Rafiu Durosinmi.
Who will be next?

A sub that was badly needed but incredibly daft timing. I haven't seen that even at amateur level in a long long time.

Funny thing is that he does make the subs fans are clamoring for albeit late. We could’ve tied this game. He really needs to read games quicker.
