Switzerland vs Nigeria ?

Post by fishward6 »

Enjoying Switzerland vs Belgium the Swiss team features most of the players from their Victory in Nigeria in the U17. The #9 just scored to Tie the Game 2-2. What is wrong with us we only have one player and he caused the SA equalizer yesterday where are the rest???
PS the other the left back Gonzalez scored the penalty to make it 2-1

"I first saw David Rocastle play in 1983 for the youth team. I remember coming home excitedly from the match and telling my family, "I've just watched the nearest thing to a Brazilian footballer you are ever likely to see - and he comes from Lewisham." - David Dein on Rocky Rocastle

How many players from that u17 team are in the Swiss national team? I think you are exaggerating.

Guy stop. Nigeria graduates more U17and U20 boys to the full NT than any other team. Omeruo, Ihenacho, Success, Musa, Ezenwa all played vs South Africa. Add to this Oshimehn and Chukwueze. The likes of Ndidi and Uzoho didnt play cos of injuries and susupesions. How many Swiss NT players were part of that U17 team in 2009? I can count them with 1 hand. The issue is what happens after these tournaments are over? Most of our guys struggle to get step into the next level bcos we dont have a solid leauge system back home to absorb these players after the tournament is over unlike the European and south american kids that walk straight into their top clubs who own them. Until we fix the NPFL and make it viable, we will always struggle to develop young talents. Also not every U17 and U20 player will make it at the highest level.

make peaceful change impossible make violent change inevitable.

"It depends on what the meaning of the word 'is' is. If the--if he--if 'is' means is and never has been, that is not--that is one thing. If it means there is none, that was a completely true statement....Now, if someone had asked me on that day, are you having any kind of sexual relations with Ms. Lewinsky, that is, asked me a question in the present tense, I would have said no. And it would have been completely true."
