Chukwueze starts again
He starts again for Villareal, game on in about an hour.
It seems that he is basically beginning to lock down a starting position at Villareal.
Also earlier today Bazee started his second match for Hannover. He was substituted just before half time after he had a nasty head collision with an opposing player. The other player immedietly went off, while Bazee tried to run off the injury for 2 or 3 minutes but was later withdrawn.
We are stacked in the wide position. In fact we have NEVER been so deep on the wings. How awsome it is to not have to worry about junks like Oduamadi, Babatunde, Ejike, ever playing on our wings again.

"It depends on what the meaning of the word 'is' is. If the--if he--if 'is' means is and never has been, that is not--that is one thing. If it means there is none, that was a completely true statement....Now, if someone had asked me on that day, are you having any kind of sexual relations with Ms. Lewinsky, that is, asked me a question in the present tense, I would have said no. And it would have been completely true."

Seeing lots of the ball and the commentators talking a lot about the faith VillaReal have in him.

This boy is a baller. He just oozes confidence, almost caught Betis out with a pass.

Re: Chukwueze starts again
Samu forced a great save from the goalie. This is a very sad day got a SE player, somebody will lose their job to this boy.

Misses 1-1.

Re: Chukwueze starts again
The boy is certainly a fire thrower. Defense can’t rest with him lurking.

Re: Chukwueze starts again
should have done better with that 1 on 1, but did well to get into position and latch on to the ball to get that chance in the first place.
Re: Chukwueze starts again
Best chance of the game so far: Chukwueze beats his man in a tight spot to create 1-on-1 with GK who saves his close-range shot.
The boy is good - and confident.

It is only a matter of time before Chukwueze and Kalu are on either flank of SE. Only a matter of time.
In the last game against Uganda, each player was our best player for each half they played.

He did well but the goalie made a great save. Not everything has to be somebody's faultvancity eagle wrote:should have done better with that 1 on 1, but did well to get into position and latch on to the ball to get that chance in the first place.

HT 0-0
Chukwueze truly 'belongs'.
He's not playing like a young player trying to prove himself. Keeping it simple when necessary. Excellent first touch.
For a young player to be described as 'exciting" in La Liga, the home of pure football, then he is not playing.
Very impressed.

Personally, I think the time is here already.vancity eagle wrote:It is only a matter of time before Chukwueze and Kalu are on either flank of SE. Only a matter of time.

Both also happen to change flanks at will.
Moses Simon, Victor Moses....might just have to take a back seat

Just saw the chance again, he could have passed it into the net.

Reminds me a lot of Amunike’s intensity.
