Professional performance, these are the games where it might not be a vintage performance but just get 3 points, some players were average today, Pogba, valencia, mata, there will be other games where they have to step up but the most importsnt thing is get 3 points, do not conceed!

Absolutely! Mata valencia were too slow, if we are to play that fast attacking game, sorry valencia and mata cannot start together

We just need to keep on winning to keep up the momentum

Valencia is done or maybe simply not it this season. But I have never been a fan of his anyway.... Any full back that does not make a single run to to the opponents goalie cross the ball for entire 90 mins is not my ideal full back.

As for Mata he runs all over the place stepping into the role and the space of others, never there to aid any meaningful play with his full back. Keeps trying to play the 10 role even when it is obvious his assigned role is different

rashford did well, so did Matic

pogba 1/10, but was always a threat

sanchez should be in the FA Cup game to regain fitness

We need a RB...and soon

valiant effort against 5-man defense

Pogba had a poor game, he needs to keep things simple on days where space is limited, almost redeemed himself but missed that sitter

Newcastle put bodies in defence and we did not provide any width on the right side, no crosses at all, Lingard would have stretched the defence and not allow Atsu to bomb forward

Well its still a learning period for OGS, right now he should have an idea who his best 11 are when fit, some players are in their 30s and they will likely have to make way for the younger generation

Whats important is grinding results and keeping clean sheetsm today we did just that

Rashford, definitely the best player on the pitch

We gave too many balls away. Ole should address that situation with the players.

well on the right, no pace at all! Mata/ valencia offered nothing, compare to the last match where Lingard and Young were making all these runs, it was easy for Pogba to pick the right pass or rashford, 2nd half when Lukaku and sanchez came on, there was a bit of pace and that led to our 2nd goal

Against Spurs and that huge wembley pitch, we will need plenty pace, meaning rasford, martial and lingard must start in front with Pogba behind, i will also start with Dalot, i think Young might struggle on that pitch

...this 4 straight wins under a new coach, I bet the previous coach could have lost 1 or 2. Goes to show a coach's approach to players does magic on the pitch.

Mourinho would not have won yesterday game, Newcastle were set out to defend deep and frustrate united, they also played a bit rough, the ref was lenient with them

Dont think our starting line up did us any favours on the right

You may be right. Same way I think Aubameyang should be playing for Spurs then graduate to Man United later. He is simply too good for Assanal  :taunt: :taunt:

I think Rashford will easily progress with the liks of barcelona and Real madrid where the emphasis is on technique, not just speed, also playing with other super stars, his game will improve, right now, his transfer value 100M, no questions asked

having said that, with the right coach at united, giving him the freedom, we can see the difference in performance in the last few games, yes it was lowly teams but rashford has scored against all the top sides in the premiership, he is meant for the big occasion, our number 1 striker, Lukaku has to sit on the bench, its that simple

you're assuming United will sell, same way we sold DDG to RM

Man United is a 'selling club'? really?
