Just as unwarranted as the hype around Pulisic...
The hype on CHO is warranted given his age (18), the maturity of his game and his end product relative to game time. That said, he needs to work on his finishing and increase the strength/power of his shots on goal. Otherwise he’s pretty much set. He’s tall, fast, physical and strong on the ball plus at his age, his decision making is advanced. What he’s lacking is playing time to harness his ability. Hopefully he gets it at Chelsea.

Negro please, he hasn’t done jack yet and might not even pan out regardless of his talent. Should show you at least one season of his potential before you start putting huge price tags on his head. 40 quid based on a few preseason games?

See me see trouble. I don’t think I’m one to quickly hype players and I’m not saying he’s worth xyz millions though in this market any half decent player is worth 30 mill plus so his current price tag isn’t saying much IMO. What you should do is watch the player. Right now, he’s good enough to be part of Chelsea’s regular rotation and at 18, that’s saying something.

Chelsea paid 35M for Drinkwater to bless us with his bench-warming skills.
CHO may not be worth 35M to you, he is worth that and more to Bayern.
Chelsea would have preferred him to remain low-profile and just develop normally. But that's not to be.

Personally, I think things are getting in his head and wants away. He has been getting playtime with the 1st team. Way ahead of many other kids his age. Especially knowing Chelsea's records with the youth.
