AC MILAN OPEN NEGOTIATIONS FOR NIGERIAN STARLET

AC Milan open negotiations for Nigerian starlet

Written by: Forza Italian Football Staff

The overhaul of the AC Milan attack this month with younger players appears set to continue after they started talks over a move for Charleroi’s Victor Osimhen.

A new transfer approach implemented by Ivan Gazidis and Leonardo has resulted in the Rossoneri focused on players under the age of 25 with great potential, as evidenced by the acquisitions of Lucas Paqueta and Krzystof Piatek.

According to TMW, the Rossoneri are now keen on adding Osimhen, who is on loan in Belgium from Wolfsburg, to that list and are discussing a move for the 20-year-old.

The Nigerian forward is valued at €15 million and Milan are pushing for an initial loan deal until the end of the campaign before making the move permanent in the summer for a fee that corresponds Wolfsburg’s price tag.

If the Rossoneri are to bring him on a six-month loan before the transfer window closes, it would reportedly cost them €3m.

Osimhen has been in impressive form at Charleroi this season, scoring 10 times and providing two assists in 20 appearances in all competitions.

Thats very good form...
Considering he is on such a roll... Might be best he stay where he is and continue his development...
On the other hand we are talking AC Milan here...

Some people only get better with big moves like this, case in point: Taribo West (from Auxerre to Inter Milan). Osimhen might be ready for the big stage, so why hold him back?

If he can prove himself in a defensive league like Serie A that would be amazing and a confidence booster!

What sort of low self esteem people are here? Imagine telling the guy to decline a big club like AC Milan for a small club? Nonsense. If AC Milan is interested he should sign for them and hustle/work as hard as possible. At the end of the day, it’s either he ends up being a flop or ok or superstar we hope it’s the latter but one thing we wouldn’t tolerate is “low self esteem” or not even giving it a try

Watching AC Milan vs Napoli (copa italia) right now. The Krzystof Piatek is no joke. Just score two wicked ones in the first half. I want the best for Osimhen eventhough I am a Milan fan, he should stay where he will get week in/week out game time for a couple more seasons.

Nope. If AC wants him, to AC he should go. There are no guarantees now, or in three years. If he is healthy, he has plenty to build on. Good luck Victor!

Oh wow! Unbelievable!

Milan is always a big club! Always! Milan is the second biggest club in Italy and still the second biggest one Europe. When Real Madrid had a wretched period, were Madrid considered no longer a big club? Or United?

Just a note: There is difference between an exaggerated notion of self importance and high self esteem.

The deal may breakdown b/c of RSC Charleroi demands........AC milan offered 12m euros and Charleroi wants 15m euros.
According to German report, Milan have already agreed to send him to Lille(France) on a loan deal after signing him.

I can't stand daft clowns that love flaunting their idiocy for all to behold.
Charleroi has the 1st option to sign Victor as their player and this option is valid till the end of the season, all they have to do is to transfer around 3m euros to Wolfsburg before the end of the season.
Blockhead, now you know why Milan is talking to them and not with Wolfsburg.

I hate Dumbos.

They are as prestigious as European teams go, but a top player would be more likely to consider moving to a Man City than a Milan.
