I know the vultures(Barca, Real,PSG, Man Shitty and Bayern) will raid us for talent. Hopefully we win the UCL before that happens.
We definitely need to improve on the defensive side but things are looking up. This UCL is wide open. Aside from Barca I can confidently say this Ajax team can take on anyone including those overrated EPL teams still in this competition.

How does one solve a riddle like Daley Blind? He is only 5ft 9in tall (tiny for a CD), has no pace, strength, or aerial ability, yet he plays at CD against strikers faster, taller, stronger, and wider than him. However he manages to place powerful strikers like Benzema, Lukaku, and Carroll in his pocket. He gets through 90 minutes of football every week relying solely on his anticipation, positioning, and reading of the game. Is there a more intelligent player remaining in this year's Champions League?

Positioning and intelligence in reading the flight of the ball. Two of the most important attributes a CB must have.wiseone wrote:How does one solve a riddle like Daley Blind?
