Watford didn't record a single shot in 45 minutes.

Naa, mehn don't say that. He may be having a bad day at the office but don't call him terrible. He is ours, if foreigners read this, how will it speak of us?kbt wrote:He's terrible.

Say what you want about VAR, but Watford was robbed on that 1st goal.
Clear offside not called
Amazing that EPL is the only major league in Europe without VAR!

Re: Isaac Success - City vs Watford.
Offside all day. It does not matter that the defender got there 1st. Sterling in an offside position was influencing the way the defender played the ball.
Same thing with Lovren and Kane last year. Kane in an offside position influenced the way Lovren attempted to clear the ball.

Re: Isaac Success - City vs Watford.
Sterling was offside once Aguero touched the ball. Play should have been dead right there and nothing afterwards should have mattered.Alategun wrote:Offside all day. Isaac is very successful at being useless. He may be our own, but he is very useless. Where is that guy who was always hyping Isaac? Biko, come and explain away this horrible performance.
Re: Isaac Success - City vs Watford.
success is coming back from injury and it's his first start in a while. Give him a break.

Why not wish him well instead of complaining all the time?

Reporting what happened during a match is not complaining...funny thing is you are the one complaining, and even worse you haven't wished him well either...*shakes head*EMIR KONGI JAFFI JOFFA wrote:Why not wish him well instead of complaining all the time?

Isaac, like his former U17 teammate Iheanacho, is currently playing quite poorly. He plays as if he is a spectator, not a player, and his biggest contributions were in defence. He was in no play an offensive threat. Very sad.

We can make all the excuses in the world, but this was as good a match as any by which to assess him. Isaac's first touch was excellent, after which he was just as he was BEFORE his injury: clueless. Most of his passes went astray. He did not manage one shot on goal. Come on!bushboy wrote:First game back after several weeks out injured against Manchester City away. Re: Isaac Success - City vs Watford.
He didn't play like this before his injury though, that's quite unfair. There was a stretch before his injury where he went from a bit part bench player to a bonafide starter, you think he did that while playing cluelessly? Even benching Deeney at one point...come on now...even think about the cache he must have built up that they will start him in such a big game AS SOON as he recovered from his injury.Polly wrote:We can make all the excuses in the world, but this was as good a match as any by which to assess him. Just in case you don't know, I am a big Isaac fan. But I know when something is wrong, and will admit it. He was a bonafide starter at that point, but he didn't make a real impact, which is how Deeney came back and benched him again until his injury. As for his starting yesterday, he was one of seven players Watford started, as the club planned for its cup tie next weekend. The point is that when Isaac is fit, he needs to seize his opportunities.maceo4 wrote:He didn't play like this before his injury though, that's quite unfair. Re: Isaac Success - City vs Watford.
I hear you but do think you are being a bit unfair to judge him on this game. This is his first game after a long injury lay off, he’s not a robot, he’ll need time to get back to his best. I thought he did well when he was starting before the injury and was smart with the ball creating lots of chances that his teammates fluffed and himself fluffed a couple.Polly wrote:Just in case you don't know, I am a big Isaac fan. Commentary here sums up how he was playing at that time:
