Chelsea are 'targeting Lille sporting director Luis Campos' as the Premier League side look to fill the void left by Michael Emenalo.

Nigerian sporting director Emenalo left the club in 2016 to take up a role at Monaco and he has never been replaced by the Blues.

Owner Roman Abramovich leaves much of the day-to-day running of the club to close ally and Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia.

But according to France Football, via the Star, Chelsea are now ready to bring in a fresh face as they look to alter the make-up of the club's hierarchy.

Campos is highly sought-after and is believed to be of interest to Manchester United as they too look to re-shape their boardroom on the football side this summer.

He has previously had spells at Real Madrid and Monaco, as well as a number of clubs in Portugal during his days as a manager.

His time at Monaco saw his credibility and approval rating rocket after enjoying frequent success in the transfer market.
