Arsenal have played well, but just haven't taken their chances well enough. We should have had 3 goals this half if not for lucky saves by their keeper, and balls being stuck in Auba's foot.

Rennes have pressed well and with Cech not kicking so well, its put us under undue pressure. Ozil has been in and out, and he looks a bit low on energy today. Mkhi hasn't been as influential as he's been lately. Sokratis has stood up, but should have been more careful with the second foul that led to the second yellow. Having said that, the Rennes players have been terrible with diving, and their crowd pressuring the ref.

Don't take all these whining and personal attacks on players, those are on auto every game.

Nice one. Please show me where I mentioned fantastic performances in my post above. Secondly, I gave a report on the first half as I saw it, and I warned people that read constant negativity in every Arsenal thread, that they shouldn't take all they read here as gospel.

The second half was worse than the first. Our players did not play as well as they did in the first. We conceded an unlucky own goal for their second, and yet again, did not take our chances well enough. We also played scared. The result is a bad one, but I believe we will recover and progress.
