Nigeria U20 team fail to win their first test game in preparation for the World Youth Championship which will take place in Poland later this year but twice came from behind to draw 3-3 with the U23 team of German Bundesliga side Freiburg, Owngoalnigeria.com reports.

Freiburg took the lead before Maxwell Effiom level scores for the Nigeria but few minutes after his leveller, the host were awarded a penalty which was converted for them to take a 2-1 lead into the half time break.
Nigeria rallied back in search of another goal to draw even but the gaps they left behind was exploited by the German side to go 3-1 up leaving Nigeria with the task of scoring twice in the final 20 minutes of the friendly game.
Manchester City youth team midfielder Tom Dele-Bashiru pulled a goal back for the Nigerian team following his introduction as a substitute in the second half before Norway based Jerome Akor complete the comeback to bring scores to 3-3.
The game is one of the several games lined up by the Nigerian team to help the team fine tune their strategy for the World Youth Championship where they are grouped with Qatar, USA and Ukraine in the group stage of the tournament which starts onthe 23rd of May.
