Good squad. No surprises, but disappointed that Azubuike didn't get a look-in.

There has to be more to it before one drops a proven player like Kelechi. Nigeria needed him, now he needs Nigeria.

Brilliant list by ROHR. The man is building, a concept still strange to Nigerians.

Don't they have to prove themselves worthy of invitation first?
Might as well go back to the dark days of Hey you! invitations.

Great list.....consistency

Rohr will play a back 3 to protect balogun

Uzoho
Aina....ekong/balogun/omeruo....Simon
Ndidi......Mikel
Chukwueze....ighalo(am hoping for Oshimen)....Iwobi(Musa if Mikel does not play)

Kalu is not fit and will be dropped

If he plays a back 4

Shehu(unfortunately) Ekong...Balogun....Collins
Ndidi...Mikel.....Iwobi
chukwueze....Ighalo....Musa(although Onyekuru is on heat)

Anyone not above is dispensible apart from Etebo/Ogu(lack of midfielders) also Ajayi- versatility

Why so light in the midfield?
Midfielders are top candidates to get injured especially in a tournament from all the running and tackling.
Otherwise, strong quad.

Abeg, nor talk am.
He is back in training and still has 5 weeks before our first game which he doesn't even need to feature in.

But Rohr himself said he had Azubuike in his list but allowed U-23 to use him. Seems that was just fabu...

Thank you.

And even Joel who was hot last season has been unseen this season. Agu was okay, Alhassan faded in portugal, ifeanyi mathews ended up in Div2 in Turkey, Kingsley Micheal is in D2 and cant even start in the U23 team. Azubuike is not better Ndidi, MiKel, Etebo or even John Ogu (and we need Ogu's physicality in Africa). Uche Agbo has had a poor seasona and only played the last 2/3 games for his relegated club. Nwakali is struggling to make it in D2.

Eze in championship hasnt lit up the championship. Infact, it was another NIgerian player in QPR that won MVP of the season.

The only face that deserved to be called is Esiti (who played in europe and has been ever consistent for Gent) and to a lesser extent, Igboun who has been the best player for Ufa in the last 2 seasons in Russia.

Azubuike is better than John Ogu. I haven't watch Mikel recently in D2 in England.
Winners do it the right way.

Bros, Ogu really isnt that physical. If we want physical Esiti is what Rohr should have gone for

The goal is to win the AFCON not to go and learn.

Uncle, hopefully, this is a different Nwakaeme you are requesting. If not, I would say don't you have a gaddem job to be posting such rubbish?
Best Nigerian striker at the moment my dear nephew.

Balogun wasn't getting playing time due to Dunk and Duffy.....................Kele was getting playing time and stinking up the place.

Cant you say the same with respect to Kele and Vardy? What were you expecting him to do with the 5 mins he got here and there?
