TonyTheTigerKiller wrote:1st half is over. My summation so far, a very lethargic Nigerian team. They just don’t seem to know how to to put it all together. Even when they have an opportunity, they self destruct with weak or inaccurate passes and mistimed kicks and headers.

One thing that’s clear to me is that Nigeria should stop wasting our scanty resources on foreign so-called technical advisers. They’ve been unable to turn our pool of talented players into a cohesive unit :!:

Cheers.
I think we should find a competent crew, foreign or home based is irrelevant to me. We need technical advisers that have the ability to transfer technical gibberish from paper to on the field play.

Had folks ridiculing our Messi and had to lecture them on the lack of tactics in the game against Norway. The coaching staff did absolutely nothing to adjust to the Norwegian constant attacks from the mid and flanks. It was awful.
Thats not entirely true. The Nigerian defense was clearly improved in the 2nd half against Norway.
The coach did make adjustments. Norway is just a better talented and coached team.

I wasnt impressed and was watching out for it. The Norwegians took their foot off the pedal and cruised. We did not adjust imho.

Just a reflex. You can't stretch your leg to kick a ball without extending your arms..
really ? I think its a reflex alright but not the type you described but rather she thought she was in a practice where and was trying to bring the ball back to null the own score

Korea is a mickey mouse team. If it were France, England, USA the goal would be disallowed.

He says that we are currently "brainwashed" into believing that the Premier League is the best competition in the world, and that we are now a long way off dominating the Champions League again.

I think Spain’s by far the best league.

Can someone help me out with this team, so we are paying a foreign coach to coach our team to grab the ball and just hit a long one to either of Oshoala or Ordega on the wings. You mean no Nigerian coach can do this?

I am watching the S.Korean match - didn't watch their 1st match - we're conceding a lot of possession & territory - you need to be sound defensively to do that. We're not & therefore relying on luck - their next goal chance mightn't be offside. I see girls with a lot of heavy touches & misguided passes. Poor coaching
If I give you a good wine, you will see how it tastes and after you ask where it comes from,'' ""To put players in my team who are not good enough will not strengthen the England team, and would weaken the Arsenal team.''The only thing I can say is that whenever England do not win it is always my fault, even when I am not at the game".Wenger said.

Nigeria got lucky. We seemed determined to concede a goal. We almost did but were saved by the flag :!:
