Big game day
So it’s a big day.
First the Falcons, then the Eagles.
I’m curious, have the Falcons and Eagles ever had competitive matches on the same day?
I think in 2005, we had the FE play Holland in the U21 semi-final the same day the SE we’re hosting Angola in Kano. FE did us proud. CCC and his boys let us down.
But this feels even bigger: both our senior teams in important matches on the same day.
Can anyone think of a day that was more important in terms of breadth of implications for Nigerian football beyond a single one of our teams?

MY NAME IS WAKA-MAN, and YES, I AM A CHELSEA FAN. Please don't hate me - I was fan when David Ellery dashed Cantona two penalties as Man U beat us 4-0 in the FA Cup final. So I've paid my dues.
