They've been okay in the matches I've watched. The only iffy call that comes to mind is the penalty as for Algeria. The"foul" looked to me like a top quality dive.

the only really bad ref was the one that allowed Tanzania to finish the match with 11 men.

I honestly do not look forward to VAR in the knockout rounds.

I like things the way they are. The refs in this tournament so far seem to have improved a lot.

Are you talking about the Afcon?I don’t trust these refs, after I saw Egypt against Zimbabwe in the opening match I realised the ref seemed to biased and timid towards anything that would affect the Egyptians that of cause is because they are the hosts but the rules should apply to all!
