He even invited him to train with the SE during a friendly and he was there.

with the lack of AM options he failed to call him up when he was on fire last season

The result was that the England U21 then called him up which will now complicate any switch of allegiance which had no complications before.

Now before anybody tells me Eze is not that good.

We need options for heavens sake. We cannot rely on only Iwobi.

He may be out of form or get injured, then what will we do ?

You watch a clip and we no go hia wod again. Ask yourself why the the many many teams in the epl and other top leagues are not interested in signing EZE. Rohr is not the only coach looking for talent but very few have shown interest in Eze.

The so called no 10 or CAM is no longer in demand as they were in the past because coaches have adapted to players in that role and are now able to shut them down easily unlike before. Attacking MF are struggling in almost every league. ozil, mata even iniesta was locked down on the regular. Eze is a good player but he's very easily nullified and becomes a passenger. Thats why you haven't celebrated a goal or assist from him in a yr. Yes. He is useless to SE!

Eze fizzled out mid-season and the initial buzz he created disappeared.
People need to see whether he is the real deal before they start falling over themselves.

I see the Gernot Rohr brigade is out in full voice today.

He's already done enough to be invited to the SE for a friendly. We really need more AM options.

Its a good question but point is nobody is quite sure he is a genuine talent or just a flash in the pan.
He started last season with a lot of promise, attracted a lot of press coverage and then disappeared under the radar.

Hopefully this season he'll be back bigger, better and for longer.
