It beats me whenever I call for SIMYs callup, most CE are against this but they are for strikers with only 5 league goals or those with goals in div 2 and even those struggling to score upto 4 league goals in the same league with Simy.

Its not peculiar to us.
In a sense, this is a reflection of the increasing standards and hence greater competition for places in the SE.
There was once a time when we barely had one credible player for each position and the drop in quality to the bench was steep.
Now we have performers like Simy, Sadiq, Dessers and the younger Moffi not even getting a call-up.

But on a practical level, if your wish to call up Simy came to pass, who would you drop?

I think Osimhen is better as a prospect, although he hasn't shone this year due to accidents and Covid.
