I watched Genk for the first time today.....Onuachu scored his pk and played 77 mins....it was 1-1 when he was subbed for Dessers and Genk were under pressure.

Dessers entered and completely changed the attacking dynamic of Genk. He was much much busier, made better runs, linked with the team mates and just looked sharper than Paul. Desser's run dragging the CBs out of position led to the winning goal. However, for all his bright spots, he was short of confidence when presented with a chance to ice the game. He decided to pass...he should not have!!

Overall, i must say even though Paul had 25 goals now, on the basis of just this game, 1 looks better than the other. And its not the guy who has 25 goals who looked good.

They keep padding his numbers with PKs so they can get the most out of his sale

Samuel Kalu scored today vs Metz. Had a great game playing behind the striker and should have scored a second but missed a sitter. But a really good positive game from him.

Kalu is a fantastic player and extremely talented. Injury has been his biggest worries coupled with his mum's kidnap saga last season.

Kalu has always been a number 10 from the wings for Bordeaux. It's only a matter of time when and he'll drift to Playing the attacking midfield role.

His ability to shoot from distance with either foot is a huge plus for him if he ever plays the 10 for SE. Kalu is one of the best shooters we've had since probably Oliseh and Nsofor. His technique is top notch. Abeg mek Lookman go Sidon Joor.

Meanwhile, Sadiq Umar scored again for Almeria on Saturday versus Lugo....
After missing a PK (or actually the GK "saved" the PK), reminding MACEO that scoring from PKs isn't beans! :D

Kai, at least he made up for it.
Scored on a penalty rebound, then deftly flicked the ball onto the post which rebounded for a teammate to score their third goal and broke free from inside his half to lay on a neatly weighted ball for another teammate who netted their fourth.

I'd say it was a goal and two assists.

Sadiq is making it look far too easy.
Next season come rain, come shine he's a Laliga 1 player. 8-)

I give you 90% .... you lose 10% for not mentioning that he was the one who forced the opponent into conceding the penalty.

Simy, so far, is Nigeria's top 2 strikers this season. It would be a sin to not get a callup for the next sets of ANC Qualifiers.

SOmeone that has scored 8 serie A goals this season in a schitty team? highest goal scorer in Europe's Top 5 with Terrem Moffi been 2nd with 6 goals.

Even NIgeria's highest goalscorer in Europe with 25goals, you still against his SE invitation but first on your list is Nacho with 2 league goals and Ighalo.

It's clear you are one of the people that supported Buhari. You don't select people based on facts, stats and merit but based on sentiments and propaganda.

Stop talking in just numbers. There’s a reason he failed last time just like Onuachu. He’s not an SE caliber player, period. Osimhen has 2 goals, Timo Werner has 1 goal, Simi is not a better player than either. I’m one of the people who makes an informed decision based on the totality and not simplistically looking at one metric.
