That’s 4 goals in 4 Belgian league games...

But Otitokoro thinks (and Sunset implies) that he’s not as good as Olayinka...
Nothing personal against Olayinka, but his best Belgian league output was 8 goals in a full season.

Not sure who is "better" but Olayinka's link-up play is quite underrated.

We were not discussing about who is “better” (we won’t know that until after the fact)...
But who was the better SE PROSPECT based on the evidence available to the general public.

Meanwhile, strikers are judged PRIMARILY on goals scored, not on “link-up play”.

Nigerian strikers score goals for fun in Belgium. Onyekuru, Awoniyi, Osimhen, and now Onuachu. Are our strikers that good, or is the league just weak? If you're a Nigerian striker trying to rebuild your career Belgium is the place to go. Iheanacho may benefit from a loan move to a Belgian club?

Onuachu should leave the SE for others to have a go. The dude is worse than short 1 (which implies we're playing 10 v 11); he is basically an extra man for the opponent (so we play 10 v 12 once he comes on).

I'm sorry but outside of the 1st minute goal vs Egypt in the friendly, all he has done is work against the Eagles once he comes on.

Talk about an Ogbeche renaissance, only worse.

I said this from the jump but nfachair used that one goal to abuse me well well :rotf: Dude is out of his depth with the SE, no decent coach would prefer this guy to a half fit Nacho...

That's why they are called PROSPECTS before the play...
Based on commonalities, he was a BETTER PROSPECT than Olayinka.

As a PROSPECT, it was up to him play himself in or out, and it looking like the latter.

The strange thing is he was actually not bad against Egypt including his touch and holdup play but something appears to have gone horribly wrong with him. That is football.

And great goal too.

Onuachu and odey would soon start leading that Genk attack.

Tosin Aiyegun with a goal and an assist for Zurich yesterday vs Basel.

He dominated FC Basel in central midfield and looks like he's already too good for this league in his third match.

I watched him a little of him. Looked pretty good. It will be interesting to see how he progresses, could be one to watch. I love the passion he displays on the pitch.
