His team got a vital away point v Rennes while he picked a nice assist , rated the best player on the pitch with a 7.9/10 rating. https://www.whoscored.com/Matches/13766 ... nnes-Lille

One of the things I like about him is that he is not a lazy striker. I hope that doesn't change as he makes more money.

This is why i am glad we have Osimhen. He squared the ball to a team mate for a team goal...that pathetic Abraham chose to go for goal instead of passing to mount.....

Some here are crying and raving about the overhyped English striker

Watching Bamba, Araujo and Ikone makes you realize headless chickens exist even in countries with the best football academies.

If either of these players were in Osimhen's position on that goal... they would have skied the ball or shot it straight at the goalie.

Dude is feeding off scraps...btw Ikone just recently got a cap (and goal) with the French NT, imagine such a selfish player at Lille, he plays differently for the NT.

It is often not money that changes that, it is age. Compare young Yak with WC 2010 Yak. Compare young Ighalo with the version from the 2019 ANC Ighalo. Heck compare young Serena with the recent Aunty Serena at the last US open.

A lot of players here play for themselves. Bamba, Ikone, Renato Sanches and Yazici play like they're too good for the team or like they're trying to get scouted. I wonder why the coach isn't addressing what's so obvious from the outside. They can be so much better if they play collectively.

Another thing to like about Osimhen, he uses his left foot also. Note that the assist was with the left foot, and the earlier attempt at goal that was blocked was also with the left foot. When you consider that he also scores goals with headers, we have a complete striker on our hands. Please, tell Abraham to call us after he has finished doing house-cleaning for Sir Harry Kane

It can actually be difficult to determine whether the guy is left or right-footed as he can be deadly with both.
This is right from his U17 days - check out the 1:08 minute mark:

That is a phenomenal strike for a 'weaker' foot! :thumb:
