The Governing Body for International Football has released a shortlist of 20 man footballers Under-21 Years for the prestigious Golden boy award.

This Award is given to the most promising and exciting young talent talent of each year and surprisingly, Nigerian Most Exciting young talent who plays for Spanish side. villareal has been Excluded from the list. This seems to be a great surprise to many as Samuel Chukwueze has been electrific for his side Villarreal.


The list Contains Barcelona's youngster Ansu Fati, Arsenal's Matteo Guendouzi, Real Madrid's Vinicius Junior and other Amazing Young talents.

Sometimes, I wonder how players are REALLY picked for these awards. Since Confederation of Africa football (CAF) denied JJ Okocha the African player of the year award several times, I don't trust any of these 'award organizers.'

It's complete bullshit, there are about three to four africans that probably deserve to be there ahead of Vinicius, Ansu, Foden (who doesn't even play).
