We are four players short of a great squad in my opinion

Post by Ayo Akinfe »

[1] QPR midfielder Ebere Eze out of Benin and Lesotho qualifiers as he requires Fifa switch - See more at: https://bit.ly/2qBH81o I hope they have already applied so this boy can at least play in a few qualifiers before the Nations Cup. England are hot on his heels, so the Nigerian Football Federation needs to act fast.

[2] With Ndidi, Aribo and Iwobi all looking like potential great Premier League players, our midfield is taking shape

[3] I am relaxed about the centreback positions as Ekong, Ajayi, Omeruo and Awaziem appear all up to the job.

[4] Upfront too, in the wide areas we are covered with Kalu, Onyekuru, Chukwueze and maybe Simon.

[5] Having said that, we do not have any competition for out targetman Osimhen

[6] We, however, need another quality experienced goalkeeper to fight for the number one shirt with Uzoho

[7] We need another great leftback to compete with Collins

[8] We need a playmaker to challenge Iwobi

[9] We need an understudy for Osimhen and we are good to go

[10] How far do you think this side can go in Qatar 2022?

No we're not stop talking nonsense. in order for us to Challenge for Huge titles at World football, we need QUALITY footballers all round our 11 and when I mean QUALITY, I'm talking about Elite team QUALITY or We need 3/4 global superstars supported by extremely hardworking Average players and we dont have any now. As good and hyped as Ebere is, his still at a BACKWATER league. tomorrow, if were seeded against Croatia or Argentina and has to challenge Perisic, Modric, Rakitic or even Messi, dybala, Gago can he make the Difference?? or will he Fold like the rest? we need superstars ASAP even in the form of Salah,

The team is taking shape, we need another world class striker, a solid creative m/f and another top draw goalkeeper.

To hang against top opposition, Iwobi needs to improve his stamina, increase his work rate and keep the ball better. Otherwise our midfield is looking very formidable.

Wha choo looking at?!

Ndidi, osimhen, ekong (he has been one of the top3 CDs in Serie A) and chukwueze are on their way to been world class.

Awaziem, kalu, Aribo, Aina have potentials to be up there.

Etebo, Simon, Collins, ajayi, ebuehi, onyekuru are quality players.

By 2022, I suspect the following may have made the step uop to become world class:

Francis Uzoho
Joe Aribo
Wilfred Ndidi
Victor Osimhen
Samuel Chukwueze
Samuel Kalu

They are all on the way there.
