He sure looked completely out of place.
May attribute this to his coming back from a long injury.
But I agree, he should be playing a supporting role, behind the young bucks (Kalu, Chukwueze and Simon) at this point in time.

Sareren-Bazee is also going to join the SE soon. It may be curtains for Musa.
I read that he's about to return to Europe in January with Fernabache, maybe that will help his game.
I am happy

The good thing about the way the Super Eagles are trending is that there's competition at every spot. Everyone will have to step up and raise their game if they want to stay relevant. The only guaranteed shirts right now belong to Ekong, Ndidi and Osimhen.

After last world Cup I decided never to knock Musa. Having said that, who's Osimhen replacement, Onuachu?

Musa should watch Osimhen game to pick up some things he can add to his game. Maybe it is time to move back to Europe:

Okocha retirement was rare. Nigeria players normally don’t retire before they are forced to retire:

What is up with people disrespecting Musa. He has scored more goals than Kanu, Ikpeba, Amokachi yet those guys are considered legends.

Those guys are legends cause they actually won trophies for Nigeria from Olympic gold medals to the AFCON, all playing very significant roles as well...

Think Musa is still trying to get back to full fitness. He just got back from injury.

He is inconsistent. Also poor with his final delivery. That is fair criticism. It is not disrespect.

Funnily enough, Onuachu may have done well in todays match with all the crosses that Awaziem was whipping in, but yeah he ain't my cup of tee. I dont like one dimensional players.

after oshimen in the lead striker role we need to consider the following players

Cyriel Dessers
David Okereke
Sadiq Umar
Dennis Bonaventure
Henry Onyekuru
Ahmed Musa
Paul Onuachu

If Musa does not get a move away from that rubbish Saudi league back to Europe, he should not be considered as an option for Nigeria especially with the likes of Lookman and Ojo coming on board.

If you own a team in Europe, please hook him up.
