Re: Etebo heading to Laliga(Getafe)
Thats a really stupid explanation! You had the chance of joining a premiership club but opted for stoke?? Well that "project " is about being relegated to division 3!niyi wrote:Interesting press conference.
He said he was supposed to move to watford after Las Palmas got relegated but then stoke approached him with what looked like a good project and they wanted him badly, so he chose stoke city.

Yep. I hope he has a good game. It's scary making your debut start in Camp You.Dammy wrote:Etebo starts against Barcelona in a few minutes.

Liverpool, European Champions 2005.
We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. We used to think before then that if the other players are better, you have to lose. After that we learned anything is possible – you can beat better teams by using tactics." Jurgen Klopp

The process of uselessing the boy is well underway.
Why are they playing him as a wing back? Where have they seen him play as a wing back? Etebo is a central player whose best positions are CM or as a support striker. He does have the engine to play WB but he doesn’t have the offensive repertoire to be effective in that position unless he’s there to defend, in which case they’re better playing him as a RB. De tin taya me sef.

Re: Etebo heading to Laliga(Getafe)
He played on the right side of MF and had an average game at best. Getafe was defending for large spells of the game so he spent most of his time shielding the FB which he did well. He wasn't much of an attacking threat though.
He doesn't look fully fit yet. Probably cause he hasn't played too many games this season.

I thought he played well, given a very conservative remit...olu wrote:He played on the right side of MF and had an average game at best. Getafe was defending for large spells of the game so he spent most of his time shielding the FB which he did well. He wasn't much of an attacking threat though.

He and Nyom managed Fati very well, and especially the late, blind side runs from Alba/Junior...
