From ‘calamity’ Yobo to ‘the special one’

Post by gochino »

"With one of his last touches in international football, the man who held Nigeria’s defence for over 13 years scored an injury-time own goal, thereby putting the game beyond Nigeria. Before then the Les Blues had shot into the lead and the Super Eagles were pressing hard for an equaliser. And just before he announced his retirement from international duty, Yobo said: “I would have loved to have done it differently. He said after the match in Brasilia that he would be retiring from international duty to concentrate on his club career and spend more time with his family."

I also remember that amazing own goal he scored in a World Cup qualifier for Sierra Leon (the team Nigeria have a double header against) coincidence or what?

Yobo vs Godwin Odiye how do you see them
make peaceful change impossible make violent change inevitable.

"It depends on what the meaning of the word 'is' is. If the--if he--if 'is' means is and never has been, that is not--that is one thing. If it means there is none, that was a completely true statement....Now, if someone had asked me on that day, are you having any kind of sexual relations with Ms. Lewinsky, that is, asked me a question in the present tense, I would have said no. And it would have been completely true."

Yobo really deserves this post. The Defense is one department were we need experience but we keep using young defenders and don't allow them grow with the job.

I disagree with you!

He lacks the basic qualification for that position.
