Osimhen Arrives Italy Ahead Napoli Move

https://www.completesports.com/osimhen- ... poli-move/

Nigeria forward Victor Osimhen has arrived Italy for talks with Napoli officials ahead of his proposed move to the club, Completesports.com reports.

Osimhen arrived Italy on Tuesday morning with his agents.

Osimhen, according to several reports will be given a five-year contract, which is now believed to be worth 85 million Euros.

Napoli coach Gennaro Gatusso has insisted Osimhen is his No 1 target to replace Poland striker Arkadiusk Milik, who is set to quit the club this summer.

Milik has been linked with a move Tottenham Hotspur, Juventus and Atletico Madrid.

Osimhen linked up with Lille from Belgian Pro League club Sporting Charleroi last summer.

The 21-year-old scored 18 goals and provided six assists in 38 games across all competitions for Lille during the 2019/2020 campaign.

He was also voted the club’s player of the year.

The former Wolfsburg striker was on Monday named the Best African Player In Ligue 1 for year 2020.

One of his agents has already upset the Italian media by claiming that Italian society is racist.
Does he not know that such comments will make Osimhen a target of ultras.

What difference would it make if they’re racists anyway?

The only Italian club that can afford to pay upfront is Juventus the original amount was rumoured to much more than 45-65M!

Italy is just not the right league for Osimhen. The flow of their football just doesn’t fit him❗️

Cheers.

Have you ever watched Napoli play? Especially under Sarri and Gattuso?

#Napoli want to sign Victor #Osimhen. De Laurentiis have offered 5-years contract to the nigerian striker (€3M a year). Napoli are in advanced talks with #Lille. President Lopez asks €60M to sell him, but Adam #Ounas could be included in the deal. #transfers

Ciro Venerato - @RaiSport
:

“De Laurentiis and Gattuso have broken through, but the numbers are different from the initial ones because Victor Osimhen is now much coveted. There will now be a rise to €4m between fixed salary and bonuses.“

Osimhen will stay in Naples for another night, which is a further opportunity for him, his partner, and his entourage to get to know the city better, and perhaps to arrange a new meeting with the Napoli leadership in order to file the last details of his transfer. (@tvdellosport

Victor Osimhen has given his ‘ok’ to Aurelio De Laurentiis. The striker and his crew - his agents and fiancée - have been bewitched by the city. He likes how the people of Naples recognized him and welcomed him. (@Gazzetta_it

Reports in France and Italy claim Lille forward Victor Osimhen is ready to sign with Napoli, but sources close to the player insist he is still not convinced. Oma Akatugba claims that he is ‘not too willing’, having talked to Osimhen after his tour of Naples. (@footballitalia

No deal yet, but it could happen this weekend.

“Yesterday De Laurentiis told Victor Osimhen that he will be the star of his team and much more. There was an interview between the entourage and the management of Napoli, and the report was positive. Napoli hope to have the final yes by Saturday.”

I think it will soon happen this Saturday.
