‘WE’LL SAY NO’: CLUB CHIEF SAYS LEICESTER MUST PAY RECORD FEE FOR ‘EXCEPTIONAL’ ATTACKER
Danny Owen

Hammarby have no intention of selling Leicester City target Akinkunmi Amoo, with chief scout Mikael Hjelmberg telling Studio Allsvenskan any bids will need to be in excess of £3.5 million.

That might not sound like a lot of money – especially to clubs the size of Leicester, Atletico Madrid, Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich – but Amoo is no established star pulling up trees in a major European league.

Instead, he is an up-and-coming youngster making a name for himself at Swedish outfit Hammarby. And while £3.5 million may not be much to the likes of Leicester and Bayern, it certainly is to the Allsvenskan side.
In fact, such a fee would see Amoo become the most expensive export in Hammarby’s 124-year history.
Not that Bajen are even thinking about cashing in just yet.

'WE HAVE HOPE': CLUB DESPERATE TO KEEP 'EXCEPTIONAL' REPORTED LEICESTER TARGET THIS SUMMER

“We will say no to 30 million to 40 million Swedish krone (£3.5 million),” Hjelmberg insists.
“We have not received a concrete offer but the list of interested clubs is long and many have asked about the price (of Amoo).
“We have no plans to sell Akin during the 2021 season.”

Speaking to Fotbollskanalen earlier this week, Hammarby director Jesper Jansson struck a similar tone, insisting he’s hopeful of retaining the services of a winger who has developed “exceptionally” in recent months.
The Nigerian winger has produced five goals in eight games this season.

According to what reported by ReelRadio , the Nigerian broadcaster, Lazio would be interested in Paul Onuachu , center forward of Genk and the Super Eagles. The Nigerian striker has impressed with the Belgian club's shirt this season: 32 goals and 3 assists in 37 games, an extraordinary performance that has also made his evaluation soar.

Another serving of humble pie is in the oven as Arsenal are reportedly interested in Adarabioyo. The one will make the Maceo/Onuachu saga look like child's play. Kai... some of us are about to be served.

How would it be the same? Is Adarabioyo in SE? Isn't my beef with Onuachu that he doesn't fit into SE? Has he proven he fits simply b/c he scored 2 goals against some useless teams? You this trouble maker....mschew

Owngoal is reporting Boavista has signed Awazeim on a permanent transfer for a record fee (5 million Euros). Not an ideal move, but was probably the best he had available. Hope he moves to a bigger club either in the summer or the following season.

18 year old goalie, Daniel Jinadu moved to Championship side, Barnsley from West Ham. He is a former Golden Eaglets goalie and maybe one to keep an eye on.

Owngoal reporting Onyeka off to Brentford for $3.5m.

HE was adopted by Danish parents when he arrived Denmark and was 17 hence he wouldnt have work permit issues.

Isn't Watford where Nigerian players go to kill their careers? I can't think of any Nigerian player that has come out of there better than he went in.
