As some of you may have heard, Musa Nosa Kadiri just passed away in Brooklyn, New York City from a cerebral hemorrhage.

We're heartbroken, and on top of the loss, we would like to make a contribution for his son's well-being.

If you're able to contribute, we'd be very grateful. It would also help a lot if you can re-share this fundraiser with others and/or post any memories of Musa. Here's the link to contribute:

In his teenage years, Kadiri had become semi-professional, playing in local teams and winning local and national leagues. He also went to play soccer professionally in Europe.

Nosa is 2nd from left at the pre U20 World Cup Saudi 1989 tournament Flying Eagles camp in Ibadan.

Nosa!! Remember playing and hanging out with him in the Clinton Hill/Fort Green area in the late 90's and early 20's. Full of fun and dynamic. Briefly organized the Niaja team that was feared in NYC with some ex SE players. RIP Nosa... you played well.
