Seriously I haven't felt this excited about a player until now... let it sink in for a moment guys, a top club signing of 81.3m pounds plus bonuses for a Nigerian player? wake me up please, when last did a Nigerian player ever make a record breaking signing like this? major credit has to go to Amunike for really believing in and grooming these guys (I remember Osimhen attributing a great deal of his success to Amunike). Hopefully we learn from this and realize there are no short cuts to long term rewards, and Osimhen more than deserves all the accolades for working so hard to get to where he is now... the kid went through a lot.

Wolfsburg surely took a big L on this one, imagine getting rid of a player for cheap because you had no faith in him(even though the better part of his playing career was marred with injuries), only for him to become a record signing few years later.

Exactly my point! Very easy to do that when you are playing behind two out of very good 3 DM's in Diawara, Veretout and Cristante; as well as in a 3-4-2-1 defensive system that provides defensive stability.
