Today na Boma Birthday. You fit holla am.
Jesus didn't die so we could have religion. He died so we could have a deep, intimate, personal relationship with God.

So better to have Nigerian government “real madrid” academies?
Why can’t the clubs in the government league have their own academies?
If Nigerian football isn’t nurtured and controlled by experts than even Fleetwood Town could easily set up a more efficient academy than any of the so called top tier clubs in Nigeria can provide and that exactly why private academies can produce players that have never featured in the NPL governors league before they are farmed off to Slovakia or Sweden.
I smirk, because you just don’t get it...
You are condemning the so-called “Governors’” League but commending the “Governor’s” academy. SMH
No I’m asking why they couldn’t just have academies for their clubs without Real Madrid attached to it remember the NFF don’t even have an academy so why is a governor who works for the Nigerian government endorsing Real Madrid?

This is business. Identify the next super star, take them Madrid who have rights to refuse or sell to other top European clubs. Some could decide to go school too. The Academics teachers are very good too.

DON'T YOU JUST WISH NIGERIA HAS A WORTHY LEAGUE?

That way keeping a rare talent in Nigeria would be a realistic option.

Not every grandaunts will be a footballer or play for Real Madrid.
60% football, 40% education.
100% owned by the Rivers State Government.
Rivers state government acquired the Real Madrid franchise.
Until the next governor comes in and it´s not his or her priority anymore. What happens next?

I was just making this point on a media program earlier today. The state's involvement in sports, in most cases, will not be the way to go long term in Nigeria. It is bound to be the case, in the future, that the government will abandon this project. Take it to the bank.

I SHARE YOUR SENTIMENTS TOTALLY...

...the only problem being that Nigerian private interests are often slow to act if at all, and when they do it is often done shabbily. That then leaves the state as the only option if accomplishments must be achieved, unfortunately
