Houston, we have a problem!! Our Minister of Youth & Sport!!

See the most irresponsible tweet from our so called Minister of Youth & Sport. What nonsense  !! Even your performance as the Minister of Youth & Sport calls to question of your suitability and competences. Can you imagine, he wants to remove a coach because of two drawn games and we're still leading the qualifying group. Serious yeye dey smell oh   . The funniest thing is that, this man was part of the problem that led to the drab display we witnessed in Benin. Even the coach said he only had one full training session with the team, because of the nonsense distractions from the Government/NFF officials, including this man!

Your job (or the needful) is for you guys to stop moving the team from state to state. Football is not politics for Christ sake. The players need to get used to an international standard turf that's favorable for the players like back in the days when Surulere National stadium was our fortress. Make a single venue home of the Super Eagles and you'll be remembered.

This tweet is even worse than Pinnick's video. Some people just don't know how to exercise restraint. How does this help the team?

What is the needful? He does not have the authority to sack Rohr. Also, the ministry cannot afford to buy out Rohrs contract. Buhari will sack him before giving him a dime of the money he (Buhari) is saving for his retirement to Sudan.

I was at a party in Lagos yesterday! I believe from the conversation of those present, Rohr has coached his last match with Nigeria. Some top NFF guys were at the party, didn’t bother going to Freetown and were watching on their iPads and phones.

And you think the NFF haven't given Dare their backing already? :rotf:, it's not looking good for Rohr going by the inside scoops I got from a reliable source I know very well (he used to be a member of this forum actually). Rohr will be relieved of the job in a few days time, and there are about 4 names of coaches ( 2 ex internationals and two foreign who are popular within the African football circle) already been lined up ahead of December interviews. You heard it here first.

I hope my boy Patrick Klivert is on the shortlist.

Were you there with Dangote, Adenuga and Otedola? Or did the beer drinkers at the party tell you how they will pay for Rohr's contract when they sack him? Abeg gerrara hia with all these beer parlour wishful thinking tori. What exactly was their reason for making it his last game?

I'll only drop two names:

Sabri Lamouche
Emmanuel Amunike

the other names I leave you to figure out!

Rohr is under contract through 2022. He even took a pay cut to sign the extension. There is no easing him out. You fire him, you pay for the contract. Simple.

The people talking at the party are not ready to buy out his contract. Let them say how they intend to ease him out of the contract while his team is at the top of the group table and 1 point away from qualification before we take them seriously.

https://www.espn.com/soccer/nigeria-nga ... -extension

Under the terms of the new deal, Rohr will be expected to spend the majority of the year living in Nigeria, take a pay cut, and be paid in local currency.

The 66-year-old told ESPN previously, during his contract negotiations, that he had no issues with any of those terms.

"I agree to these two things, and even I agree to have a lower salary," he said.

"I am not doing my job for money. I am doing my job because I like it. Because we have built a team like you know, and money is not the most important.

Chei Lamouche and Amunike are both FAILURES.

It's a shame it has come to this but Rohr only has himself to blame. Any genuine lover of the SE would be worried about the direction the team is going under him and he seems unwilling to change. He has brought a lot of positives into the squad but it seems he's spent.

Any genuine lover of the SE should be worried that we are about to do another Amodu 'odu' on our football.

The strangest thing is that it is the very people who regularly point to that Amodu fiasco as an example of NFF "uselessness" that are the ones pushing for a repeat show, ten years later.

What a country!
What a people!
