I keep laughing when pundits say the boy is "16".

Not sure he is what we need tbh.
If I were Rohr I would think outside the box and give Sadiq Umar a chance.
Goal scoring, technique, hold up play, dribbling and assists all in one. We have no other striker with all those abilities.
I'm not so sure the Bundesliga is one of the top three leagues in the world. Bayern yes is a top three team, but there's a huge drop-off after them...and maybe Dortmund.Otitokoro wrote:Good game from Awoniyi against B. Dortmund today. He seems to have settled in well at Union Berlin and the coach seems to have confidence in him.
Not being settled all these years and all the loan moves hasn't really helped his cause. However, at Union, I believe he is beginning to show his vast potential, especially in one of the 3 best leagues in the world.
He still has some learning to do, especially with regards his finishing. He easily could have scored 10 goals this season, considering the many close chances he has had.
If he is able to work on his finishing, he could become a top goal scorer. Wishing the lad all the very best as he develops and fulfills his potential.
