Is the boat safe? With herdsmen wrecking havoc we've forgotten we have fishermen kidnappers too.

If its a yatch, it sure will. Afterall, we remember the long list of players who decided to join a "small club" like Chelsea in the early days of Abramovic, after dining on his yatch.

 rafters are always fun especially if they take turns rowing it but lets remember what happened to Togo when they decided to travel by road to Angola
make peaceful change impossible make violent change inevitable.

If it means there is none, that was a completely true statement....Now, if someone had asked me on that day, are you having any kind of sexual relations with Ms. Lewinsky, that is, asked me a question in the present tense, I would have said no. And it would have been completely true."

That road used to be the pride of Nigeria. It was once the best motorway in Nigeria. It was one of Yakubu Gowon's lasting legacies. Sadly, we have destroyed all such things bequethed to us. Do you know that in Germany today, all the autobahns Adolf Hitler built are still in top shape.

We are just a nation of vandals. In Egypt, they have managed to maintain the tombs of the pharaohs, the pyramids, the old temples, etc and we cannot even maintain a road that is less than 50 years old.

This is taking incompetence to unprecedented heights. How much does it cost to upgrade a road every five years abeg?

I shudder when I hear responses like this. When you think how infectious and widespread these views are, combined with social apathy and dividedness, small wonder Nigeria is what it is today.

Well 100 years from now when you can get a train to Accra via Cotonou and Lome in 2 hours no one will remember this :rotf:

...continuing poor logistics by the NFA, I doubt this gonna be a "love boat" or carnival cruise style trip. Nothing has changed in 20 years.

If it’s Dangote’s yacht that will be a nice way to travel. Much nicer than flying; plus it’s kinda mad to fly 70 miles.
To be fair we should just annex Benin anyway and make Cotonou part of the Lagos megapolis :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

MY NAME IS WAKA-MAN, and YES, I AM A CHELSEA FAN. Please don't hate me - I was fan when David Ellery dashed Cantona two penalties as Man U beat us 4-0 in the FA Cup final. So I've paid my dues.
