Ndidi & Nacho Chase Champions League Place vs Tot'ham

Post by Damunk »

1-0 ahead so far from a Vardy penah.

Ndidi moved to CD after Leicester's CD, Fofana was taken off injured.
Nacho has been up and down so far.
Laying off passes beautifully but it seems beating players one-on-one is not his strongest point.
He horribly fluffed a golden chance vs keeper, but it was handball anyway
That miss would have been very embarrassing.

Nacho has been piss poor.

One thing I notice is he seems to not be up for big games, and he becomes clumsy, and falls all over himself. He did this at the World Cup, and I notice it today. Today he has been off.

Calling a player piss poor in the 1st half is a piss poor thinking. Your judgment has fallen off the cliff lately .

he is useless w/o the ball. Vardy works harder than him

Once they are in the final third Leicester needs to complete the attack, not pass the ball back to build up another attack.

He has done that a few times today.
Quite frustrating when you're rooting for him to stay on point.

Don't understand that guy, reminds me of Iwobi, good but inconsistent.

We heard you the first time and you are STILL wrong.
How is he finding the wide spaces to go 1-on-1?

Ihenacho has been poor. Someone was alluding to Kels fading in big games may be up to something I vaguely thought about but refused to accept. That said, Leicester's big problem is that there is a huge gap in their midfield which Mendy isn't doing a good job closing. Ndidi as Center back is hindering them.

Kels has a penchant for being clumsy and fluffing shots. I have noticed that he does this far more than the average striker. It's as if he suffers from low confidence at times, and gets nervous. He seems to have exercised that demon recently, but is it creeping back ?

As far as SE converting to a 442 to accommodate Iheanacho, I am not sure, definitely not against tougher teams. It should be an option if we are chasing games, or if we are lining up against weak teams that will sit back and defend.

Leicester you need to score a 3rd goal. Stop these back passes.

Mane just score striking with the left foot regardless of the deflection.

Leicester is just a let down. Passing the ball back, and back, and back.
What a shame.
