Cape Verde 1 Nigeria 2 FT
Okoye
Collins
Awaziem
Omeruo
Shehu
Bonke
Michael
Musa
Ejuke
Simon
Osimehn
Musa in the hole behind Osimehn.
If he must play its better than putting him out wide, at least Rohr seems to have learned that.
What has Zaidu Sanusi done to now be displaced by the mediocre Collins ?
Excited to see what Ejuke and Michael can bring to the team.

mods make this the match thread.
Re: Nigeria v Cape Verde Starting 11
Not too bad based on the available players. My own personal changes would be Sanusi for Collins and Moffi for Musa.
Bushboy's bushmen : 1.Isaac Success 2. Terem Moffi 3. Victor Boniface 4. Samuel Omorodion. 5. Samson Tijani. 6. Rafiu Durosinmi.

Are you at the team trainings to know exactly how Zaidu is playing or you assume, erroneously, that form is static. Zaidu has not been starting at his club. Has he? Why should we assume that his form at SE is static and is always going to be better than that of Collins? Moreover, did he not arrive late and did Collins not play well in the previous game?

Re: Nigeria v Cape Verde Starting 11
so reports are true about Ebuehi and Kalu.
Didn't their second test return negative ? So why are they barred from the match ?

Re: Nigeria v Cape Verde Starting 11
Did you not know that Sanusi came very late to camp and also has hardly played for Porto this season? Unless, things change quickly Sanusi will not be called up at all to the October games due to lack of playing time.vancity eagle wrote: ↑Tue Sep 07, 2021 3:35 pm Okoye

Re: Nigeria v Cape Verde Starting 11
The Midfield is a big risk, they have never played together! Rohr had the opportunity to invite and try out other midfielders but kept on inviting 8 defenders. Musa as 10? hmm, don't know about that, why not try Ejuke there, Musa just doesn’t have the ability to hold and distribute balls accurately.

Re: Nigeria v Cape Verde Starting 11
yup.
He had many occasions but continued to ignore our midfield.
He has no excuse if our midfield fails today, that will entirely be on him.
I had sounded the warnings for a long time.

Re: Nigeria v Cape Verde Starting 11
Rohr really lost me with his midfield debacle las year and his now lack of game management. I am not holding my breath for this game.

I agree it looks like a 4-4-2, which could make our team a little unbalanced. 4-4-2 only works if one of the front two is committed to dropping deep to play the number 10 role periodically, and also works better when you have two legitimate box to box central midfielders. Think a 3-5-2 or 4-3-1-2 work better with the personnel available.

Ahmed Musa lol okay. The guy can serve me humble pie. He is a flash in the pan player. The lineup is offensive for me. Musa shouldn't be starting.
Winners do it the right way.

Re: Nigeria v Cape Verde Starting 11
didn't Aina go back to his club ?
Honestly I hope this is not the lineup, the other one looked better.
Re: Nigeria v Cape Verde Starting 11
looks like 3-4-3 that can turn into 5-3-2.

I dont even know why they didn't travel with the team, if they were going to take a 2nd test.Bigpokey24 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 07, 2021 4:54 pm so the 2nd covid test for Ebuehi and Kalu came back negative, they didn't travel to Cape Verde.. hmmm nah real wah oooo
They will continue these underhanded tactics, same thing they tried to do to Iwobi.

Is this match on YouTube? I can’t find it
