Rivers United Football Club have completed the signing of Goalkeeper, Sharp Uzoigwe from FC Ifeanyi Uba
Sharp kept 10 clean sheets last season for Ifeanyi Uba but wasn't enough to keep them out of the relegation zone.

dayumnnn Egypt no serious... so that goalie was relegated and now moves to Rivers... didn't Rivers also lose some defender who just signed with Pirates in SA? Also i do not rate River s and do not see them making it to the group stages.. They qualified for the champs league via back-door

Structural changes in Rivers United football club.
The Club has been moved from the Sports commissioner to office of the Governor of Rivers State.

The commissioner FOR sports will now have to develop other sports and not just Rivers United FC.

Egypt FA no dey joke..
Former Al Ahly manager Martin Jol became the newest candidate for Egypt national team head coach position following Hossam El-Badry’s dismissal.
Jol took charge of Al Ahly in 2016 and came as a household name, having managed several European clubs such Tottenham Hotspurs in England, European giants Ajax and Germany’s Hamburg to name a few.
