Finidi George has joined Enyimba FC as head Coach on a two-year deal.

Enyimba have announced the signing of Finidi George as head Coach on a two-year contract.
George, 50, joins the Eight-time NPFL champions in his first coaching role in the League after several failed applications for roles in the youth national teams.
He was announced, Wednesday, after the contract signing ceremony with club chairman Felix Anyasi.

“I have to say it’s a great opportunity for the club to have this confidence in me. I want to thank the chairman, the members of the board, and the supporters for even thinking about me,” George told the Club’s website after penning the deal.

“On my own part, I will be here to just work and do the job. It’s never going to be easy but I’m here to work and make the team win.”

Massive boost for the NPFL..

Jesus didn't die so we could have religion. He died so we could have a deep, intimate, personal relationship with God.

Hope the league can attract and support more ex-internationals interested in adding new ideas

Congrats to George Finidi.

Does anyone who is Enyimba's Director of Football?

I hope Finidi pays attention to Enyimba's academy program or help them establish one. Tons of young footballers in that Aba/PH/Owerri axis.

Why will he do such? How many years is his contract?

What will he be judged upon? That's what he should focus upon.

Highly Rated Samuel Kalu To Be Announced As Anayo Iwuala Replacement At Enyimba
https://www.freekicknaija.com.ng/highly ... t-enyimba/

Image

FreekickNaija can exclusively confirm that former Kastina United foward, Samuel Kalu has signed a two years deal with Enyimba International FC of Aba.

Enyimba defeated the likes of Enugu Rangers and Wikki Tourists to sign the highly rated 19 years attacker. Samuel Kalu came to the limelight two seasons ago when he played for FC Ifeanyi Ubah after which he secured a move to Kastina United and shined like star.

Samuel Kalu is understandably will be earning four hundred thousand Naira(#400,000) at Enyimba. With the capturing of Samuel Kalu, Enyimba will not be missing the departure of Anayo Iwuala who recently signed for Esperance of Tunisa .

With 9 goals in last season and numerous assists, Kalu can be described as an upgrade of Anayo Iwuala . The pacy forward who is a nightmare to defenders will definitely not last long at Enyimba as teams from Europe are already monitoring his progress .
