Re: Goal Oshimen
He missed a breakaway minutes earlier, put through by Insigne I believe.
The two linked up again for the goal. Good play from Osimehn to win the ball find insigne with cross field pass and then finish the give and go.

Re: Goal Oshimen
I know it's early but I think Napoli have a real shot at the title this year once they are clicking on all cylinders.

Re: Goal Oshimen
Osimehn is very intelligent with his passing and vision. Good link up striker.
Re: Goal Oshimen
Terrible miss. He should have 2 goals. He is very inconsistent for a striker.vancity eagle wrote: ↑Thu Sep 23, 2021 5:42 pm He missed a breakaway minutes earlier, put through by Insigne I believe.

Re: Goal Oshimen
Anguissa slow to release ball to Osimehn and he scores a beautiful offside goal.

Re: Goal Oshimen
Seems Napoli have been instructed to change the way they play, they are now constantly looking to find Osimehn on quick counters.
Never played that way before.

He missed a goal that he should score. I don't know what kind of objectivity you expect.Abbey wrote: ↑Thu Sep 23, 2021 5:54 pmYou are fast losing your credibility as a fair' observer of Osimhenbushboy wrote: ↑Thu Sep 23, 2021 5:49 pmTerrible miss. Pasamu on Monday Feb 22nd 2010 post ANC- I will repeat again, the problem with our team was never ability or personnel or even tactics . It was confidence pure and simple confidence. Amodus team had been spat upon, anything they did was dismissed as insignificant To see the team going from playing brilliant football against Egypt in the first half of their ANC group game to the cautious fear laden play against Zambia was sad.

You apparently have not been watching them or paying attention
Form is temporary; Class is Permanent!
Liverpool, European Champions 2005.
We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. We used to think before then that if the other players are better, you have to lose. After that we learned anything is possible – you can beat better teams by using tactics." Jurgen Klopp

And that makes him inconsistent as a striker?

He is a lot more consistent than all those strikers he listed as his favorites

Re: Goal Oshimen
That goal is EXACTLY what I was saying Osimehn needs to improve in his game.
He did not run forward and stay on the back of the defenders but he DELAYED his run and created separation from his defenders.
people say na "hatred" and "agenda"
I simply noted where he needs to improve, and he is DOING IT.

Re: Goal Oshimen
He has always done that; when the buildup is slow it gives the defense time to reset
Today Napoli are moving the ball much quicker……
