Very interesting that today Ahmed Abdullahi (former U17/U20 CF) makes his senior team debut for Gent after a prolific season with the B team (3rd division)

Yesterday Abubakar Abdullahi (former U17 international CF) was unveiled by them and will start off with their youth team

Ceuta Deportivameta

Uche will leave Ceuta at the end of this season

Christantus Ugonna Uche will not continue to play for AD Ceuta FC next season. The young Nigerian midfielder is going to be transferred by the white club to Getafe CF, of the First Division, as confirmed by Ceuta Deportiva. The young soccer player has one more season of contract with Ceuta, so the Madrid club will have to pay the club chaired by Luhay Hamido an economic amount that has not transcended in exchange for the letter of freedom, which the mackerel entity will have to distribute with Moralo and his previous team of origin. Ceuta would also receive 20 percent of future transfers from Uche.

The soccer player and his agent are meeting this Tuesday in Madrid with the managers of Getafe, the sports director of Ceuta, Edu Villegas, and his deputy, Víctor González, to close the conditions of the transfer. In principle, Uche would commit to the Madrid team for two seasons.

The 20-year-old Nigerian player is a U-23 international for his country and arrived in Spain with the hand of Moralo in November 2022. That year the Third Federation played with the Extremadura cast. His good performances, thanks, in part, to his privileged physique, caught the attention of Ceuta, with the intention of integrating him into the subsidiary team, although his conditions quickly caught the attention of José Juan Romero, who incorporated him into the first team, with whom he has lined him up in 22 of the 24 days that have been completed in the First Federation. Only in one he did not act by technical decision, while in the other a sanction prevented him from participating. Little by little he was gaining a space to the point of playing the 90 minutes in all the matches since the end of November.

His performances caught the attention of other First Division teams in the winter market - Real Betis sounded -, without a movement that Getafe has materialized many months in advance.
