Gotti,

Were Gombe players denied a meal before this game? Which kin spanking be dat?

I like the intricate passing by Rangers. Bros, after watching some of this you wonder why some of these guys with the pace and skill do not get any consideration for the SE invitation at the very least. That really has to change.
The difficulties of statistical thinking describes a puzzling limitation of our mind: our excessive confidence in what we believe we know, and our apparent inability to acknowledge the full extent of our ignorance and the uncertainty of the world we live in. EII,

I believe it is reasonable to insist, except in the glaringly obvious cases of undismissable talent, that they prove themselves in a tournament like U20, WAFU or CHAN. If they are able to hold their own against other home-based African talent then the argument for giving them a more serious look can be made more convincingly🤔❗️

Cheers.

Exactly! Just like all the FB players have proven themselves in UEFA CL or Europa, instead of struggling for game time in second division sides…oh wait

TEAM performance is NOT synonymous with INDIVIDUAL merit - for or against. Evaluate players INDIVIDUALLY!!

Good heavens… who said anything about team performance? The fact is you can’t invite home based players to the national team just to fulfill some imaginary quota. There has to be a credible means to determine the suitability of any given player for the national team other than playing in a sub standard league; which incidentally also applies to foreign based players. Ironically, Alhassan Yusuf would probably not have been invited to the SuperEagles had he not been noticed by way of participation in a European competition🤔❗️

Cheers.

:rotf: :rotf: :rotf: most of CE who have no clue about NPFL should use shows like this.

Exception rather than the rule.

The FB players prove themselves daily in top leagues. That is the fundamental difference. Not just for Nigeria but for pretty much most of the globe...

I watch football; including this league, which has very little to recommend itself wrt standards...
Form is temporary; Class is Permanent!
Liverpool, European Champions 2005.

We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. We used to think before then that if the other players are better, you have to lose. After that we learned anything is possible – you can beat better teams by using tactics." Jurgen Klopp

Another MOTM performance by Sani Suleiman (#7) as he adds Plateau United to his catalogue of defenses he has embarrassed since his debut in February. That makes it 6 goals in 8 Apps.
