Folks - Our deepest apologies for the site outage

Post by YUJAM »

Folks, we cannot be more apologetic about the site outage.

The vendor we hired to optimize the performance of the site introduced some significant issues and then bailed when it came time to fix them. This left us in a bad situation and hence the outage. Despite our best efforts to reach the person who had helped us in the past, we were unable to. He was unresponsive via all the methods we used to try to communicate with him.

There are still some small issues such as the emoticons not showing up. We will work through these issues to make sure they are fixed.

Again our sincerest apologies. We will endeavor to make sure nothing like this ever happens again.

Was wondering why we don’t use the Cybereagles twitter (X) account to give updates at times when the site is down.
It is up and active and can keep everyone informed.

We have been brainwashed by the Premier League that it's the best in the world. Nonsense. It's the best brand

He says that we are currently "brainwashed" into believing that the Premier League is the best competition in the world, and that we are now a long way off dominating the Champions League again.

I think Spain’s by far the best league.

I think a backup forum should be created asap. Forumers can bookmark and go there whenever there is an outage.

Appreciated. I know from personal experience how frustrating this sort of situation can be.
