That’s just it!! Forget the coach for a sec and you see these players aren’t even trying. Reminds me of the days when the eagles would party before a big match.. these guys seems to have no heart… it’s been like this for years but we just keep hoping each match, like fairytale lovers, will prove us wrong.
It all boils down to the COACH…

We can't blame the COACH, however, replace the COACH with a Naija coach and we will blame the COACH :tic:

Idiots were arguing with me that the USA will not beat us silly. We are even worse than Ghana whom they walloped 4-0. The writing was on the wall in the match against Portugal.

That was a good shot for that goal but Uzoho has regressed in every game since the last world cup qualifier.
Aina is on some hard stuff with those useless ball ins.

The rudiments of the game- ball control, passing, receiving a pass is severely lacking which shows that we have truly poor quality players. More importantly we lack a proper coach to gel a team with poor quality players. I am shocked they even hired him. The man can barely speak the English language.

This has to be the worst SE performance in a half I have ever watched. We are outclassed and dominated by Zimbabwe. Lord have mercy.

It ALWAYS comes down to the coach. But you have to wonder about our players sometimes. None of them would have a contract playing like this- standing on the balls of their feet and not working..

Liverpool, European Champions 2005.

We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. We used to think before then that if the other players are better, you have to lose. After that we learned anything is possible – you can beat better teams by using tactics." Jurgen Klopp

From 40yrds out?
You think Courtois would have a contract if he let in a goal like this?

It’s halftime. I expect a total overhaul of the front line. Nacho, Boniface, Lookman and Onyedika should come in for Moffi, Tella, Simon and Aribo❗️

Cheers.
