U17 WWCQ: CAR 0 vs NIGERIA 12 (AGG)

Post by Gotti »

The away match is being played in Duoala Cameroon, as the CAR pitch does not meet CAF requirements…

Thanks Gotti. Great to see the pipeline of talent for the SF continuing. I missed the match? Any standout players?

Taiwo Afolabi returns as captain this time, and I liked what I saw of the left-footed midfielder Moshood Abidemi
Meanwhile, Chidi Harmony, the prospect that I noted back in 2022 (see below), made an impactful debut with 2 goals.

Second-leg also ended 6-0 for the Flamingos for a 12-0 aggregate score…
So, Nigeria goes through to the Third Round (of four rounds) against Burkina Faso.

Excellent! Thanks Gotti!
We have been brainwashed by the Premier League that it's the best in the world. Nonsense. It's the best brand
Roy Keane: ITV 02/25/14

He says that we are currently "brainwashed" into believing that the Premier League is the best competition in the world, and that we are now a long way off dominating the Champions League again.
Gary Neville: Mirror: 12/23/14

I think Spain’s by far the best league.

Well done girls.
