when you play with no midfield it doesn't help ANY striker to score.

Playing 2 strikers will not create chances.

to maximize creative potential, you need creative midfielders.

When you ask your main creative midfielder to do defensive work because you want a formation that only utilizes 2 midfielders, then your creativity will SUFFER.

Its not rocket science.

Having said that I dont think Awoniyi is better than Moffi. Not as skillfull.

When your outdated NFF and coach keep inviting/recycling the same 3-4 midfielders (consisting of a div 2 bench warmer, jambodi ball winners and no real play makers/creators)...where will the goal scoring chances come from? Ideally we should be inviting at least 6-7 midfielders per game and only 3 CF's instead of overloading the attack with too many cooks that spoil the broth...

That's why the likes of Awoniyi are prolific for club but not for country, you simply have to play to their strengths by giving them the chances.

Well said. To some, the center-back should continue to be a bone breaker instead of an attack
initiator. Football is a team sport, which is why some defenders become goal scorers. Chance
creation is not that, if the player cannot hold the ball or keep passing the ball to the opposition.
