It doesn’t necessarily help my or anyone’s case for dropping Musa, but you have to ask why player after player continues to mention his name, even when they don’t have to.Bigpokey24 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 24, 2024 2:18 am CALVIN BASSEY & ALEX IWOBI ON AFCON | Exclusive Interview
But surely, now his role has expired.
Troost-Ekong can take over.

Fortunately, you are not in a position to make that decision.

Fortunately for who?

Sometimes the admin has to make the tough call to stop inviting him. If I was a player and he’s the clown that keeps us happy and united, then I would want him on the team even though he brings zero football value at this point in his career.

He just mentioned Musa in regards to him having won the tournament before.
So I wouldn't read anything into him mentioning Musa at all.
No need to create a story where there isn't one.

We know you apply good reason only selectively.vancity eagle wrote: ↑Sat Feb 24, 2024 4:03 pm He just mentioned Musa in regards to him having won the tournament before.

He didn’t need to say anything about Musa.
Neither has Osimhen needed to (several times).
Neither has Nwabali.
I’m sure there are more. Ekong too.
Sorry, you have to concede that Musa is playing some kind of role that the players highly value, and that you and I are clueless about.
Humble yourself. Swallow your pride, get on your knees and beg Baba God to grant your prayers (Oops!! You asked for Musa to break a leg, so nuttin for you from that side either.)

The CONTEXT of what he said was that they were amongst players who have won afcon before.Damunk wrote: ↑Sat Feb 24, 2024 7:53 pmWe know you apply good reason only selectively.vancity eagle wrote: ↑Sat Feb 24, 2024 4:03 pm He just mentioned Musa in regards to him having won the tournament before.

That leaves only Musa or Omeruo. As Musa is the captain he was mentioned in this instance. There was nothing more to it than that.
You are simply reading more into this than what it is.
I am not talking about any other players than Iwobi.

If they felt half the way you feel about him, they would never even mention his name.vancity eagle wrote: ↑Sat Feb 24, 2024 8:57 pmThe CONTEXT of what he said was that they were amongst players who have won afcon before.Damunk wrote: ↑Sat Feb 24, 2024 7:53 pmWe know you apply good reason only selectively.vancity eagle wrote: ↑Sat Feb 24, 2024 4:03 pm He just mentioned Musa in regards to him having won the tournament before.

So get over it.
You’re simply throwing tantrums and having seizures for something you have no control over or say on.
Are you even sleeping at night?
Just let it go.
He will leave….eventually.
Maybe try reflecting on this:

So, Vancity should have the wisdom to know that Robert Boucher cannot be wished away from the SE. What an admission that the former WC hero is now the proverbial 6th finger.
