Please add to one of the most important findings, the following:

In 1999, Nigeria reached the quarter finals, its highest finish in the competition. The team was managed by Ismaila Mabo.

I was wondering why such a record was glossed over. I remember the game like it was yesterday with Brazil scoring late during the days of golden goal on a rainy day with our rightwinger Patience Avre giving them fits.

That singular record has not been matched since. Yet, it is mysteriously missing here.

Sam Okpodu was a foreign coach hired solely based on his U.S college football coaching exploits just like Randy!

Otherwise you need to change your heading to Nigerian v Non Nigerian coaches!

There was no round of 16 back then so it's technically the same stage. We have still to win a knockout game at the the World Cup men or women.

Historically speaking. Mabo took Super Falcons to the QF of a WC. That's fact!

Okpodu? Foreign-based? Yes, Foreign coach? No. He is a Nigerian. Yes, it may be clearer to categorize into Nigerian and non-Nigerian but I want to believe that most people here clearly understand that classification

Oh is that Bonfrere Jo's name up there coaching Falcons in 1991? How manage? I had no clue. Was he already with Westerhoff at SE, then got seconded to the women's team? If so makes sense.
