So far Onyedika has really held his own in the middle of the park, goes up and down really well and links well in the middle, confident and assured on the ball no doubt, same for Alhassan. These boys really need to start playing regularly for the SE mehn. SE is not short of midfielders at all, they are just not being utilised.

Upon all these, one timid coach coach went to AFCON playing 5 defenders in his starting lineup in an ultra defensive style of play, while overworking Osimhen and others. Yet some people in this forum still celebrated his negative style of football

Onyedika, Onyeka, Yusuf, Iwobi, Ndidi, Ifeanyi Matthew, Ibrahim Olawoyin, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru...

Let nobody daresay we don't have the midfielders cause that's a slap-worthy assertion in itself. We need a forward thinking coach who will pick players based on MERIT and utilize these guys properly. We have a bunch of really talented players all in their prime to afford another waste of time with a dinosaur coach.

seriously and we should slow down on the number of point men and wing forwards and sub in the midfielders and they score and create goals too
